Joe is one of our project supervisors and machine driver 10t and below & 10t and above. Joe has been heavily involved in a large security fencing project installing new cable ducting and cable pits throughout the site. Joe enjoys spending time with his grandchildren and catching up with family and pals when he is not working away.

Joseph is one of our project supervisor who is also a machine driver of all sizes. Joseph has worked mainly on the ILI Dig and Pit Wall Transition projects, when not away from home Joseph enjoys spending time with his partner and young daughter.

Having completed her Masters in quantity surveying, Joanna has recently joined her farther Paul as our Commercial Director. In her spare time Joanna is keen gym enthusiast and walking her three dogs, including the office black Labrador dog Darcie-May.

Paul is the Son in J Anderson & Son Ltd and Managing Director. Paul undertakes pricing of projects and has overall responsibility for the well-being of the business. In his spare time Paul enjoys walking, fitness training and trackdays on his Ducati Motorcycle. Paul is also a keen rugby union supporter and can often be found at his local rugby club where he was also a player.

Mick is the company accountant monitoring all aspects of the company financial affairs and advising Paul on the financial status of the business. In his spare time Mick enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, watching Rugby Union, walking and Mystery coach tours.

Michael is a master joiner and concrete worker. Undertaking projects from office refits to setting out large concrete slabs and paths. Michael has also carried out a lot of sectional building installations. In his spare time Michael enjoys walking his dog poppy, listening to rock music and is a big queen fan. Michael is also the longest serving member of the team with over 25 years’ service.

Mark is a labourer and can usually be found working with Michael on larger concreting projects. Mark has worked on many diverse projects and has gained a wide variety of skills. In his spare time Mark enjoys socialising with his wide circle of friends.

Rodger is a long serving member of the team and a project supervisor who has worked on all of the demolition projects JAS has undertaken. In his spare time Rodger enjoys getting away with his wife to their park home on the east coast.

Mark is Contracts Manager and Temporary Works Co-ordinator and is largely responsible for the allocation of labour resources and materials on all projects. In his spare time Mark enjoys walking, fund raising and is an avid follower of the big cycle race events like Tour de France and was a tour maker at the Tour de Yorkshire and Tour de France when it came to England. When questioned about his nationality, Mark will tell you he is a proud Yorkshireman before ‘owt else.

Dave is a member of the blasting and coating team. He is also a very good bricklayer and has completed many projects by reinstating retaining walls.

David is one of four blaster and coaters employed by the company and has undertaken some major projects in this role. In his spare time David enjoys spending time with his daughter and watching football. David is also a keen follower of horse racing.

Shaun has recently joined our team as the new HSE Advisor. Along with being a HSE Advisor Shaun is also a SHEA Gas, SCO 1&2 and First Aid trainer. Shaun spends much of his free time with his children but when he gets a spare minute gets involved in any and all sports going on around him, in particular he tries to find time to do some football coaching.

Rory is Pauls youngest son and is currently studying for a Bsc Geography at Manchester Metropolitan University. When he isn’t at university Rory is working for the firm either on site as a labourer or helping out around the office.

Jack is Pauls eldest son and has just graduated from Liverpool John Moores University with a Bsc in Geography with Honours. Jack has worked for the company whilst at university over his summers and has now joined the team full time.

Nick joined our team at the start of the summer of 2018. Immediately Nick mobilised to Scotland as  a supervisor on our nitrogen sleeve project. Since then Nick has worked on a number of different projects all over the UK. Nick spends most of his spare time with his children although he can often be found obsessively cleaning his van.
